We are currently open and intend to remain open during the Covid-19 outbreak.

At this time we believe RV camping is a low risk activity.  Our sites are spacious and there is no need to use any common facilities.

There are multiple sources of groceries and pharmacies within three miles of our campground.

All sites are full hook-up.  You must have facilities in your camper for toilet and shower.  Our bathrooms, showers and laundry will not be available until we determine it is safe.

Call 616-457-4837 for check-in and we will direct you to your campsite.  Please maintain social distancing and keep any pets leashed.

Rates include utilities – any site including riverfront during March and April:

$625 per month

$258 per week

$43 per day

Come join us at Steamboat Park Campground for summer fun and relaxation on the banks of the Grand River.

Steamboat Park is a new (2017), RV campground near downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Our park supports big rigs with large angled sites, paved roads and features 65 full hook-up campsites.  Many sites are directly on the river with gently sloping shoreline and a sandy bottom.  Watercraft are welcome at no extra charge.  Guests may use our boat ramp and store trailers in our auxiliary parking area.

As our guest, you have a short and easy drive to downtown Grand Rapids (only 7 miles away).  You can explore all that the city has to offer.

We also have entertainments right in the park.  Be sure to take a ride on our reproduction paddle-wheel riverboat, The Grand Lady.  We offer regular cruises with live music on board and you are welcome to pack a picnic lunch for the cruise.

In the park, you can go swimming in our heated pool, or adventure out on the Grand River and the developing Grand River Greenway project with many new parks and trails.  This summer, work begins on a new trail that will connect to downtown Grand Rapids through Millennium Park

Our family has enjoyed the natural beauty of the Grand River here for seven generations.  We hope you will as well.
