Come join us at Steamboat Park Campground for summer fun and relaxation on the banks of the Grand River.

Steamboat Park is a new (2017), RV friendly campground near downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan.

The campground features 65 full hook-up campsites.  Many sites are directly on the river with gently sloping shoreline and a sandy bottom.  Watercraft are welcome.

As our guest, you have a short and easy drive to downtown Grand Rapids (only 7 miles away).  You can explore the great festivals, summer events, museums, dining and so much more.

At Steamboat Park you can enjoy a round of golf, take a riverboat ride, explore the Grand River Greenway, go kayaking, swimming and fishing as well as special events and scheduled activities throughout the summer.

For spring of 2018 we will be opening our boat ramp and playground.  Look for more improvements in the future.

Our family has enjoyed the natural beauty of the Grand River here for seven generations.  We hope you will as well.

Cottonwood Dr Construction

Cottonwood Dr is under construction this summer.  Cottonwood is open to the campground from Baldwin Dr until July 8.  After that, use the detours shown on Ottawa County’s project page here.  Most GPS systems should automatically use the correct detour

Pool schedule for fall

Our pool is currently 80 degrees.  It will remain open and heated throughout September  and as far into October as weather and temperature permits.  The bathhouse heat will be on through the end of the season.
